They should just put him at Red Bull now and have Lawson at Alpha Tauri. Ricciardo is a good stop gap he's at the end of his career and happy to be there. Plus he's the only driver to ever match Verstappen in the same car and can't do any worse than Perez at the worst.26-12-2023 20:50

I never understood Porsche's angle. They essentially wanted a 50% stake in the team. Red Bull is already the #1 team in the sport, what would they get out of relinquishing any control to Porsche? They don't need Porsche, they need an engine manufacturer. What Porsche would get out of the deal is to be associated with the champion team in F1.
